As of now, the Dow Jones Index is up 1.65%, the S&P 500 Index is up 1.43%, and the Nasdaq Composite Index is up 2.02%. On the news front, Iran is reportedly considering allowing European parties to clear mines in the Strait of Hormuz. Chip stocks are leading the gains, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index up 6.18%, ARM up over 14%, SanDisk up over 10%, Intel up over 9%, Micron Technology up nearly 8%, AMD up over 7%, and Qualcomm up over 6%.
