Philadelphia Semiconductor Index Surges 9%

According to data from MSX.COM, the rally in the US semiconductor sector has further expanded, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index widening its gains to 9% and the Nasdaq Composite Index currently up 2.6%. Micron Technology (MU.O) is up over 16%, AMD (AMD.O) has surged over 15%, and Intel (INTC.O) has risen more than 14%.
