UK sanctions HTX, adds it to sanctions list

Odaily reported that the UK government has announced sanctions against Huobi Global S.A. (now renamed HTX). The UK government stated that there are reasonable grounds to suspect HTX of participating in activities that benefit or support the Russian government by providing financial services, funds, economic resources, goods, or technology to A7 LIMITED LIABILITY COMPANY, a company operating in industries of strategic importance to the Russian government.

This action also imposes sanctions on entities such as Garantex Europe OU, Aifory Pro, and Arvix LLC, targeting cryptocurrency exchanges, banks, and companies associated with Russia's sanctions evasion efforts. (theblock)
