The U.S. has approved approximately 10 Chinese companies to purchase H200 chips, with each company limited to 75,000 units

Odaily Planet Daily News: According to a report on May 14, approximately 10 Chinese companies have been approved to purchase H200 chips. The buyers include Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, and JD.com, while Lenovo and Foxconn have been approved as distributors. Under the terms of the U.S. permit, each customer can purchase up to 75,000 H200 chips, but shipments have not yet been made. China has rejected the Trump administration's mandatory requirement for the chips to transit through the U.S. with a 25% fee levied, and has suspended corporate procurement. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang temporarily accepted an invitation from Trump to join a White House delegation visiting China and will attend a high-level meeting this week. (Reuters)
