Robinhood Chain TVL Nears $1 Billion, Uniswap Provides Nearly All Liquidity

2026-08-13 17:35
Odaily Planet Daily News Robinhood's blockchain project Robinhood Chain has reached a total value locked (TVL) of nearly $1 billion. According to Standard Chartered analyst Geoffrey Kendrick, nearly all of its liquidity is provided by Uniswap V2, V3, and V4, making it the fastest-growing blockchain by this metric.

Protocol fees generated by Robinhood Chain through Uniswap have now become the largest source of UNI token burns. Since Robinhood-related fee switching was enabled on July 27, UNI's annualized burn rate is approximately $90 million, which translates to roughly 25 million UNI tokens burned per year at approximately $3.50 per token, representing slightly more than 4% of the circulating supply.

Robinhood Chain launched on July 1 with a focus on bringing real-world assets on-chain, reaching 194,000 daily active users in its first week. The partnership allows Robinhood to directly leverage mature DeFi infrastructure to provide liquidity for blockchain expansion.

Robinhood is expanding its business into cryptocurrency, prediction markets, and tokenization. The company posted record second-quarter revenue and earnings, though cryptocurrency trading volume and related revenue both declined. (Cointelegraph)
