🔸Let's briefly discuss @okx's X Launch event. How do you earn points and which tier should you choose? TLDR: ▪️Hold Category 1 tokens, primarily ETH/SOL/BNB public chain tokens and stablecoins, to facilitate subsequent point earning. ▪️Check the OKX DEX service fee and choose trading pairs with a 0.85% fee rate for the best value. ▪️Multi-account players should farm in Tier 2 (64U), while single-account players should farm in Tier 4 (256U). Avoid Tiers 7/8. 1/OKX Boost's three events: X Launch: Earn points based on your holdings/trading data over the past 15 days, and share a proportional share of the listing prize pool. Giveaway: Complete deposit/social/interaction tasks assigned by the project to earn rewards. Trading Competition: Occasional token trading competitions are held, with the top users sharing the prize pool. The core of OKX Boost is X Launch; the other two are omitted for now. 2/X Launch will set a minimum entry threshold; only users who meet both criteria are eligible to participate. The minimum standard is determined based on a user's Boost trading volume and Boost balance over the past 15 days. Boost balance: The average daily balance of Category 1 tokens held in your OKX wallet. Boost trading volume: Your average daily trading volume on Solana/EVM-compatible chains using the OKX DEX, multiplied by a factor. The prize pool consists of a fixed number of project tokens, distributed based on "your trading points/total trading points." Trading points are determined by Boost trading volume: 32 points minus 1 point, 256 points minus 4 points, 1024 points minus 6 points, and so on, with a maximum of 4096 points minus 8 points. Essentially, it's still about increasing trading volume, but the key is choosing the right token and the target points tier. 3/Boost balance: Boost balance currently only considers Category 1 tokens held in your wallet. Category 1: Bitcoin/Ethereum, major public chain coins (BNB/SOL/OKB, etc.), and stablecoins. Category 2: Major altcoins from projects/memes (AAVE/CRV/LINK/DOGE, etc.). Other Tokens: Tokens not belonging to Categories 1 or 2 are categorized as "Other Tokens." This balance is snapshotted hourly, and the average of 24 snapshots is used to calculate the daily balance. Therefore, deposits cannot be made at 7:00 AM and withdrawals cannot be made at 8:00 AM. Considering the need for future Boosting, it's more convenient to hold ETH/SOL/BNB and stablecoins in Category 1. The multipliers earned from Boosting trading volume vary for different token pairs. A simple way to find out is to look at the service fee charged when trading on the OKX DEX. If it's 0%, the transaction earns no points. If it's 0.25%, the transaction earns only 0.25x the Boost volume. If it's 0.85%, the transaction earns the full Boost volume. Therefore, to achieve the same amount of Boost volume, Boosting a token pair with a 0.85% service fee will cost less in total fees. Since Boost balance holdings only count towards Category 1 tokens, Boosting "Category 1 - Other Tokens" is recommended. 5. X Boost Farming: The first X Launch is $LINEA. The current point value is 63,308.53, and 19,347 people are eligible, resulting in an average point value of 3.27. The Linea prize pool consists of 162,022,478 tokens. Each point earns 2,559 LINEA tokens, or 0.03 Units before the market opens. Therefore, "for now," one point is worth 76 Units. From a cost-effectiveness perspective, the low-end tiers of 32/64 Units offer the best value; in terms of absolute profit, the mid-range tiers of 4/5/6 are the best; the high-end tiers of 7/8 are not worth farming. The prize pool value is expected to decrease in future rounds, and as participation increases (the total number of points increases), the profit per point will decrease. Currently, one point is worth 76 Units. Assuming that the future point value may increase to 10/20/30/40/50/60/70, the profit per unit for each tier is roughly as shown in the following chart (created by GPT). For multi-number players, level 2 (64U) is the best; for single-number players, level 4 (256U) has controllable wear, low risk, and relatively considerable profits.
