However, this market optimism did not fully persist. Iran's Tasnim News Agency reported on June 20 that the Khatam al-Anbia Central Headquarters of the Iranian Armed Forces issued a statement saying that due to continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon, Iran has decided to close the Strait of Hormuz again. Although the US military subsequently stated that it has not yet observed any military moves by Iran to close the Strait of Hormuz, the situation between the US and Iran has once again been shrouded in uncertainty.
South Korea's Financial Services Commission to Implement Seven Principles of Financial AI on June 22

The new guidelines apply to financial companies adopting AI, as well as FinTech companies affecting financial transactions, and establish seven principles: Governance, Legality, Support, Trustworthiness, Financial Stability, Integrity Obligation, and Security.
The South Korean government plans to relax some network isolation security regulations applicable to certain financial institutions, improve the personal credit information consent system, refine rules for data anonymization and combination, and study regulations regarding the responsibility and authority of AI Agents as well as a specialized AI supervision plan. On the day the guide is implemented (June 22), the Financial Supervisory Service will simultaneously release an AI Risk Management Framework for the financial sector, and the Financial Security Institute will release AI Security Guidelines for the financial sector.

Sources indicate the bond issuance is expected to be at least $20 billion, with investor communications potentially starting as early as Monday; the specific plan and timeline could still change.
SpaceX plans to issue investment-grade USD bonds for the first time. The proceeds from the bond issuance will be used to replace a $20 billion bridge loan maturing in September 2027. SpaceX's IPO filing with the US Securities and Exchange Commission shows that as of March 31, this bridge loan accounted for the majority of the company's $29.1 billion in long-term debt.
