The inspiration for this article comes from Scribbler's (@Defi_Scribbler) compilation titled "69 airdrops to farm in 2026". As 2026 arrives, the "airdrop farming" journey sets sail once again, making it necessary to systematically outline the projects worth participating in and the angles for interaction this year. However, the original article is more of a project list compilation, with less coverage of specific interaction pathways and practical strategies.

Based on this, this article will further supplement and refine the interaction ideas and participation methods for each project within its framework. It is recommended to bookmark this article for future reference, and I will continue to update more specific project strategies under this column. Due to the extensive content, Odaily will share it with you in three parts. This is the first part, covering 18 potential airdrop projects for 2026.

Abstract：A Layer 2 Network Designed for On-Chain Culture and Community

Project Introduction

Abstract is a Layer 2 network designed specifically for on-chain culture and community. Its mainnet is now live. The project is developed by Igloo Inc., the parent company of the NFT project Pudgy Penguins, which previously acquired the on-chain creator economy platform Frame.

PiP World：A Web3 Gamified Trading Learning Platform

Project Introduction

PiP World is a Web3 gamified trading learning platform, aiming to create a "hedge fund in your pocket," allowing every user to create, train, and deploy their own intelligent trading agents. Users can build, train, and backtest trading strategies in a simulated environment, then let their agents participate in competitions, and even deploy them to real markets to earn rewards, learning finance while playing.

According to ROOTDATA data, PiP World completed a $10 million seed funding round on October 10, 2024, with participation from Exinity.

On November 10, 2025, PiP World announced on X the launch of its Season 0 event.

Katana: A DeFi-Focused Blockchain Jointly Launched by Polygon Labs and GSR

Project Introduction

Katana is a DeFi-focused blockchain jointly launched by Polygon Labs and crypto trading firm GSR. Its mainnet went live in early July last year. Katana now supports users depositing assets such as USDC, USDT, AUSD, ETH, and WBTC. The project has announced it will provide 1 billion native KAT tokens as liquidity incentives.

Base: The Official L2 Network from Coinbase

Project Introduction

Base is the official L2 network from Coinbase. In September 2025, Base protocol lead Jesse Pollak stated at BaseCamp, "Base is exploring issuing a network token." Subsequently, Base officially announced: "We are still in the early stages of exploration and have no specific information to share on timing, design, or governance. We are committed to bringing the community along with us and building in public." Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong later confirmed the news, stating, "This could be a powerful tool to accelerate decentralization and grow creators and developers in the ecosystem."

Project Introduction

Oshi is a fan interaction platform that brings anime enthusiasts and creators closer together, using Web3 technology to allow fans to truly own a part of the content. In January 2025, Oshi announced the completion of a $12.5 million funding round, led by Ploychain, with participation from Superscrypt, Spartan Group, and other institutions.

Melee：Prediction Market Platform

Project Introduction

Melee is a prediction market platform. Reportedly, the company draws inspiration from successful cases like Polymarket, allowing users to create prediction markets on any topic. Its core mechanism achieves decentralized pricing by rewarding early accurate traders, differentiating it from traditional models that rely on professional market makers.

In late September 2025, Melee announced the completion of a $3.5 million funding round, with participation from Variant, DBA, and a group of angel investors.

Backpack：On-Chain Trading Platform

Project Introduction

Backpack is a next-generation cryptocurrency exchange and multi-chain wallet, offering a self-custody solution that integrates Multi-Party Computation (MPC) technology to ensure fund security. Backpack has launched three products: the Backpack Exchange, the Backpack Wallet, and the MadLads NFT project.

To date, Backpack has raised a total of $37 million, with investments from Jump Crypto, Placeholder, and others.

Project Introduction

PrismaX：Hot Project in the Bot Sector

Project Introduction

PrismaX is building an open coordination layer connecting remote operators, robot users, and robot companies. Fairblock aims to make conditional decryption and pre-execution privacy a reality. Conditional decryption allows users to set conditions, enabling the protocol to execute transactions without revealing any on-chain information before execution. Unlike zero-knowledge (ZK) technology, Fairblock's design ensures information is encrypted or decrypted only under specific conditions.

In October 2023, Fairblock announced the completion of a $2.5 million pre-seed funding round, led by Galileo, with participation from Lemniscap, Dialectic, GSR, and others.
