A Retrospective of the NodeOps Proof of Build DePin Hackathon

Hackathon Overview

The NodeOps Proof Of Build DePin Virtual Hackathon was held online from October 1st to 31st, 2025. The event attracted 177 registered developers, resulting in 30 approved project proposals. This hackathon aimed to promote decentralized infrastructure ( DePin ) and encourage developers to create deployable solutions in AI, DeFi, and other application areas. All submissions were integrated into the NodeOps Template Marketplace , further enriching the platform's production-grade toolkit.

Throughout the Hackathon, participants developed various solutions utilizing Docker and containerized deployment to address real-world application needs. Live workshops and AMA sessions provided community members with opportunities for technical support and interactive exchange. Winning projects not only received equivalent USD stablecoin rewards and platform points, but were also featured in the Marketplace, increasing project exposure and potentially generating revenue for the teams. This event fully demonstrated the role of community-driven development in the expansion and popularization of decentralized infrastructure, while further solidifying NodeOps' position and contribution within the Web3 developer ecosystem.

Hackathon Winning Projects

This year's Hackathon featured a main track with five award categories, recognizing outstanding technical performance in application development, AI , data analytics, and network infrastructure. The following projects were awarded prizes:

NodeOps Award Winners

First Prize

• Agent Forge — Agent Forge is a no-code platform that allows users to design conversational AI agents using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) without requiring programming skills. The platform supports document processing, various AI models, and provides integration options for seamless deployment.

Second Prize

• Wurt — Wurt is a Discord bot designed to transform documents into interactive AI assistants. This tool uses web crawling, vector embedding, and retrieval to enable intelligent question-and-answer interactions within the Discord server.

Third Prize

• EruptCDN — EruptCDN is a TypeScript content delivery network built specifically for NodeOps.network. It features intelligent caching, real-time analytics, and geographic traffic monitoring, and is deployed in a containerized environment.

Fourth Prize

• YouTube Content Generator — This tool combines Google Generative AI and Next.js to automatically convert YouTube video content into text suitable for blogs and social media, and supports multi-platform distribution through the Mastra agent.

Fifth Prize

• X Mindshare — X Mindshare provides social media analytics for X (Twitter), combining keyword and OR query logic and measuring user influence based on Mindshare metrics. This solution also integrates Web3 payments via the x402 protocol, enabling paid access to analytics.
