Self: Zero-Knowledge Authentication Startup

Project Overview

Self is an authentication protocol that utilizes zero-knowledge proofs (ZK) and decentralized storage. It can verify a user's age or uniqueness using zero-knowledge proofs and verifiable credentials without disclosing sensitive personal information. Currently, Self supports documents and biometric passports from over 174 countries and has been integrated with Celo, connecting with ecosystem applications such as Aave and Velodrome.

Yesterday, Self announced the completion of a $9 million seed round of financing , with Greenfield Capital and others participating.
