Hackathon Overview

The Stacks Vibe Coding Hackathon attracted widespread participation from the developer community and concluded successfully. A total of 571 developers registered, and 109 projects were submitted, demonstrating the community's enthusiasm and interest in building applications within the Stacks ecosystem. This Hackathon particularly emphasized the integration of AI-driven programming tools, such as Cursor and Claude Code, aiming to help developers of all levels (experienced or beginner) improve their development efficiency.

Participants developed diverse applications based on Clarity smart contracts and Stacks' proprietary toolchain, covering multiple areas including DeFi, gaming, AI integration, and InfoFi/SocialFi. The $25,000 prize pool spurred a surge of innovative projects, particularly in DeFi and gaming, with some outstanding teams receiving additional rewards.

The organizers provided participants with workshops and development resources, guiding them to successfully complete project development and presentations. This support not only reinforced best practices in AI-assisted development but also fostered an efficient, results-oriented innovation process. This Hackathon aligns perfectly with Stacks' mission to expand the usability of Bitcoin, further driving the experimentation and growth of the blockchain ecosystem. Overall, the event significantly improved developer productivity and effectively lowered the barrier to entry for building AI-enhanced applications on Stacks.

First Place – Overall Champion

•   Rather Strategy Protocol – Rather Strategy Protocol implements an automated NFT treasury flywheel mechanism on the Stacks blockchain. This project automates multiple asset management processes through smart contracts and a full-stack dApp, enabling market-driven price clearing, relisting of high-quality tokens, and token burning.

Second place – Runner-up

•   Stacks AI – Stacks AI implements a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, enabling AI agents to perform trading, lending, and staking operations within the Stacks Layer 2 Bitcoin DeFi protocol using natural language input. The project has integrated with 7 major protocols and over 144 tools.

Third place

•   AgarCrypto – AgarCrypto provides a trustless peer-to-peer competitive gaming betting platform. It utilizes Stacks smart contracts for escrow services and automated prize distribution, ensuring security for gaming betting.

DeFi Special Award

•   sBTCMarket – sBTCMarket has launched the first zero-capital prediction market based on sBTC. This platform allows users to predict Bitcoin ecosystem events without needing to lock up funds in advance, achieving a fair, decentralized, and capital-efficient market experience through a synthetic liquidity mechanism.

Game-specific awards

•   Loopin – Loopin redefines the on-chain gaming experience, driving immersive multiplayer gaming through Stacks smart contracts. The project rewards active participation and high-level players, combining traditional gameplay with blockchain ownership and incentive mechanisms, paving the way for a next-generation transformation of Bitcoin-native gaming.
