Recently, an innovative project has appeared in the inscription market - RSIC. This project is not like the casting model of previous inscription projects, but treats RSIC as something similar to"Mining machine"’s existence, mining is based on the Runes Protocol runes newly developed by Ordinals founder Casey.
At the same time, the similarity of the two names led the community to think that Casey was leading the project. However, regardless of other factors, this project has indeed brought new space to the inscription sector, which has become less popular.
Below, Odaily will further introduce the RSIC project and its development route.
RSIC is a peer-to-peer rune distribution system, with a total of 21,000 runes, 10% of which are reserved by the team, 11 RSIC will be transferred to Satoshi Nakamoto’s account, and the remaining inscriptions will be airdropped to 9211 addresses in the Ordinals community, airdrop standards There is no detailed explanation. If you have ORDI, Node Monkey and other assets in your wallet, you can pay attention to it.
According to the official introduction, RSIC itself is a specific inscription circuit for mining runes, which seems vague at first glance. In essence, it can be regarded as a mining machine. The RSIC airdropped to the Ordinals community address needs to be transferred again before mining can be activated. ability, it will be automatically activated if purchased on the secondary market.
After activation, RSIC will mine runes in the new blocks of the Bitcoin network. The specific number of mines cannot be queried at present, and the official query front-end will be provided in the future. It should be noted that the greater the amount of RSIC held at the same address, the greater the number of runes mined, and there is no upper limit.
The gameplay of RSIC that really makes the community find it interesting is that there are four different ways to allocate runes during the mining process, namely fixed mode, random mode, enhanced mode and halved mode:
Fixed Rewards: 30% of the rune supply will be distributed as a fixed reward. Each active RSIC will receive a fixed bonus of 21 runes per block.
Enhancement Rewards: 30% of the rune supply will be distributed as enhancement rewards. All RSICs can receive an enhancement reward. The specific activation method of the enhancement reward will be released in block 4703400000000 and will be explained by the hash value 75213f19413514e4ab30ba79a6b5713e333c91e7679c35dca979f70ea5f9c1f5.
Random rewards: Random rewards account for 25% of the rune supply, and the rewards include 25% of the base reward + remaining fixed and enhanced runes. Additional rewards for each block are distributed via random hashing. If a users RSIC type code aligns with the last digit of a given blocks hash, their RSIC will mine 336 runes in that block. All RSICs indicate alignment with the current blocks hash via a visual cue (e.g. orange).
Halved Rewards: 5 distributions on block 840,000, including fully diluted 5%, 4%, 3%, 2%, and 1% rune supply. When block 840,000 is mined, each RSIC will receive a lottery ticket in consecutive blocks at that address.
aboveThe four modes increase the randomness of mining rewards, making it more like an inscription mining game., at the same time, KOL Sillycat.sats shared its RSIC rarity table based on RSIC’s special symbols on the X platform.

According to the picture above, the rarity of different RSICs is slightly different, but the official details have not yet been announced, but since they have the attribute of rarity, new gameplay may be derived.
At present, the runes mined by RSIC need to wait until the Runes Bitcoin protocol is launched before they can be minted. The subsequent role of RSIC after minting is still unknown. Perhaps it is simply used as a mining tool. In the rapidly changing emerging markets, its subsequent value cannot be ruled out. possibility.
But this still has not stopped RSIC from becoming popular in the secondary market. According to the inscription section of the OKX Web3 wallet, it has only been online for 2 days. The current floor price of RSIC is 0.0355 BTC (approximately 1420 USDT), and the total transaction volume is approximately 113 BTC.
The gameplay of RSIC brings a new mechanism to the Inscription sector, but the project team reserves 10% of RSIC, which is still ridiculed by the community and violates the core concept of fair distribution of Inscription. From the perspective of project airdrops to the community, the project sides operation and marketing model are divorced from the previous brutal growth of inscription gameplay. Its airdrop fees and careful design are more in line with traditional token gameplay.
All these remarks still need to wait for the follow-up development of the project. Currently, the official only provides the gameplay of RSIC mining runes, but the subsequent details have not been announced yet, so the bullets will fly for a while.
