Odaily reports that according to GMGN data, the price of LAPTOP, a Meme coin launched by Hunter Biden, son of former U.S. President Joe Biden, has fallen below $1 and is now trading at $0.739, down about 99% from its post-launch high and nearly worthless, with 24-hour trading volume of only about $15.1 million.
Hunter Biden previously responded to the LAPTOP token crash by saying that outside reports have focused on claims such as the "token crashing 99%," "rug pull," and "Biden family crime," but these are inconsistent with the facts. When the project launched, market attention was excessively high, and existing liquidity could not support demand. Combined with technical issues and the actions of "snipers" trying to front-run liquidity providers, this caused a short-term price spike. The team's token allocation has been locked, and team members have not sold and cannot sell; he himself "did not earn a single dollar."
Odaily reminds users that Meme coin prices are highly volatile, and investors should participate cautiously.
Odaily report: Cognition, the developer of AI coding agent Devin, has completed a Series E funding round of over $2 billion, reaching a post-money valuation of $48 billion, an increase of approximately 85% from its $26 billion valuation four months ago. The round was co-led by a16z and Accel, with participation from Founders Fund, General Catalyst, Avenir, and others, while Nvidia also appeared in the list of investors.
Cognition stated that the company's annualized revenue has grown from $492 million in May of this year to nearly $900 million. Notably, a16z had previously invested in AI coding tool Cursor and exited after Cursor was acquired by SpaceX for $60 billion, and this time it turned to lead Cognition's round instead. Forbes believes this reflects a16z's judgment that the AI coding market will have a "multi-winner" landscape. (Forbes)

Odaily News: According to two people familiar with the matter, the U.S. Department of Justice is investigating whether Nvidia (NVDA.O) sought to circumvent antitrust review in order to reach a deal signed last year with AI chip manufacturer Groq. Groq at the time described the deal as a "non-exclusive licensing agreement" that allowed Nvidia to use chips Groq had specially customized for running AI tasks.
As part of the arrangement, Groq CEO Jonathan Ross and COO Sunny Madra joined Nvidia. AI companies have struck several similar deals, including licensing technology from other companies and hiring their key employees, without completing direct acquisitions. Such arrangements can often avoid the automatic government review applied to traditional merger transactions, which is intended to determine whether a deal would harm market competition. (Jinshi)

Odaily News: According to Bitcoin News monitoring, DART stated that it and independent white-hat researchers have recovered over 50 BTC from wallets affected by the COLDCARD entropy vulnerability, completing the transfer before malicious attackers could steal the funds. DART is a digital asset recovery organization that works with white-hat researchers to protect vulnerable funds and coordinate their lawful return to owners. The white-hat researchers did not request a bounty and will return the Bitcoin to its owners.
The rescued BTC has been transferred to the Crypto Recovery Trust. This trust is a dedicated statutory trust established under Wyoming state law to hold recovered digital assets and return them after confirming and verifying the legitimate owners. The trust will document the recovery process, separate the BTC from DART and researchers' funds, conduct blockchain analysis, ownership verification, and sanctions screening, and provide a lawful return process for verified owners. If ownership is disputed, or if the relevant funds involve sanctions or criminal proceedings, the BTC will be handled in accordance with applicable legal procedures. DART stated that other vulnerable assets and recovery leads are still under review.
