Sentenced to 15 Years in Prison: Adam Iza Involved in Bitcoin Theft Kidnapping Conspiracy

Odaily News: Adam Iza has been sentenced to 15 years in prison for his involvement in a kidnapping conspiracy related to a massive Bitcoin theft. The U.S. Department of Justice disclosed that Iza, 26, used cellphones and encrypted messaging apps to coordinate and finance a robbery plot that occurred in August 2024; his accomplices included six men from Florida, who subsequently carried out a violent carjacking in Connecticut and kidnapped the victim's parents. Iza's brother has pleaded guilty, and six other participants have also pleaded guilty, while the remaining co-conspirators are awaiting trial.
