A rematch within a week: predict.fun puts the odds of "GENG defeating HLE in the LCK Finals" at 64%

Monitoring shows that in the predict.fun prediction event "HLE vs. GENG in the LCK Finals," the probability of GENG defeating HLE is currently reported at 64%.

At 1 p.m. today, the 2026 LCK Grand Finals will kick off at KSPO DOME in Seoul, with HLE facing GEN in a BO5 format. GEN previously defeated HLE 3:1 in the Upper Bracket Final to advance to the Grand Finals first; after dropping to the Lower Bracket, HLE eliminated T1 3:1 yesterday, and will challenge GEN again after only a single day's rest.

Looking at their matchups this year, GEN holds the advantage over HLE, with GEN winning all of their last three meetings, including two BO3s in August and the 3:1 victory in the Upper Bracket Final on September 5. If GEN wins again in this match, they will complete a two-year title run under the LCK's single-season format; HLE will need to exact revenge against GEN in their second meeting within a week in order to claim this year's LCK championship.

fone surged nearly 40% in the past 24 hours, with its market cap briefly surpassing $8.5 million

According to GMGN market data, the market cap of Solana ecosystem meme coin fone briefly surpassed $8.5 million, now standing at approximately $8.2 million, with a 24H gain of 38.4%.

In terms of narrative, fone revolves around the concept of "apeonfone," summarizing the increasingly mobile and social trend of meme coin trading this cycle as "an ape on a phone." The project community likens it to the "a dog with a hat" narrative of dogwifhat from the previous cycle, emphasizing a trading approach where users browse social media on their phones, receive buy calls, and directly purchase meme coins.

Odaily reminds readers that meme coin prices are highly volatile, and such community narrative-driven tokens lack stable fundamental support. Please be aware of trading risks.

Tom Lee: Crypto Market Will Be "Very Bullish" Over the Next 12 Months, Tokenization Market Opportunity Could Reach $20 Trillion

Odaily reports: Tom Lee, co-founder and Head of Research at Fundstrat and Chairman of BitMine, said in an interview with Wealthion that he expects the next 12 months to be a "very bullish" period for the crypto market. Lee believes that after the market experienced over $19 billion in leveraged position liquidations in October last year, a large amount of leverage has been cleared out, and based on the crypto market's four-year cycle, the cycle bottom could appear next month.

Lee is also bullish on the long-term opportunities brought by asset tokenization. He estimates that if approximately $100 trillion in traditional assets migrate on-chain in the future and generate about 1% in related revenue opportunities, this could correspond to roughly $1.1 trillion in annual revenue and $20 trillion in potential market value. Currently, BitMine holds approximately 5.93 million ETH, and its ETH holdings are reportedly showing unrealized losses of about $5 billion.

Analyst: Korean Exchange to Test Late-Night Trading Next Week, Putting Global Demand to the Test

Odaily News: South Korea's main stock exchange will extend trading into the evening hours, breaking with Asian trading conventions as it seeks to capture persistent demand from global investors. As a step toward the Korea Exchange's goal of 24-hour trading starting in December 2027, the KRX will open trading on Monday for nearly all local stocks until 8 p.m., compared with the previous regular close of 3:30 p.m. This marks the first such move among major Asian exchanges, but it follows the global trend toward round-the-clock markets.

The new measure launching next Monday in South Korea will test whether it can maintain sufficient liquidity during longer trading sessions and prove that investors genuinely need the extra hours—even as interest in Korean stocks is cooling. Lee Young-jae, senior investment manager at Pictet Asset Management in London, said: "A longer trading window generally means investors have more flexibility, which makes the market more efficient. Investors with a stronger trading orientation and higher turnover, or hedge fund-type investors, may use it more frequently." Edward Kim, head of Korean equity sales at Bank of America, said this is "another step in the continued evolution of the Korean capital market and its accessibility to global investors." (Jinshi)

Long.xyz Founder: Approximately 10,000 new asset issuances added since Pre-IPO feature launch, issuance limits will continue to be adjusted

Odaily report: Nate posted on X platform stating that without token code locking and client-side issuance quantity limits, the platform's daily issuance volume could reach 100,000, which would lead to an increased proportion of bot usage, making it difficult for ordinary users to filter through the large volume of new assets, and potentially fueling FOMO trading, chasing trading volume, and data inflation. The team plans to add asset discovery filters to help users screen projects based on parameters such as whale holding ratios, asset lifespan, and anti-fragility, and to aggregate liquidity and capital flows toward assets within the ecosystem that perform well and possess uniqueness. Currently, the team has not found major issues with trading pairs, but new risk control parameters have been prepared. If pump-and-dump behavior is found to originate from coordinated manipulation, relevant restriction measures will be activated promptly.

Bonk Guy Responds to Buying EMBER: Started Building Position at Around $7M Market Cap, Bullish on Its Launchpad Data Growth

Odaily News: Crypto trader Bonk Guy posted on X platform responding to recent controversy surrounding his purchase of EMBER and explaining his position-building logic. Bonk Guy stated that he first noticed the project when EMBER's market cap was around $3 million but did not buy in. After observing for a day, he revisited his research due to the platform's rapid data growth and bought in from around a $7 million market cap all the way up to a $20 million market cap.

Bonk Guy said that EMBER is a major Launchpad built on Meteora, supporting SOL, USDC, and over 150 tokenized stocks as pairing assets for token issuance. It utilizes Meteora Dynamic Bonding Curve technology and offers features such as token fee distribution, Daily Jackpots, and DAO governance.

According to his disclosure, Ember has recorded approximately $51.7 million in trading volume, $561,000 in fees, and has cumulatively issued 2,041 tokens within 3 days of launch, with over 41,800 unique holder addresses and 149,000 Solana transactions. BonkGuy compared his Ember purchase to his previous PONS trade, noting that he first saw PONS when its market cap was below $1 million, similarly ignored it for a full day, and then started buying at around a $4 million market cap. Rather than whether a trending token has already emerged, what matters more is observing the real usage data underlying the Launchpad.

Additionally, Bonk Guy stated that both Robinhood Chain and BNB Chain have multiple successful Launchpads, while Solana's Meme trading ecosystem has been developing for a longer time, so there is no reason to believe that Solana can ultimately only accommodate one successful Launchpad. He also stated that his trades are not based on market consensus. Some of his most successful trades in the past often came from discovering opportunities before the market formed a consensus; by the time everyone agrees, the asymmetric upside potential has usually already been significantly reduced.

Regarding the recent controversy, Bonk Guy said that the claim of "EMBER having over 50% Bubblemaps address clusters" has been clarified by Bubblemaps; his earlier statement that Ember was "launched by Meteora" was also inaccurate—a more precise description is that Ember is built on Meteora-related infrastructure and has now been listed on Meteora's ecosystem page. Bonk Guy emphasized that he has no relationship with the Ember team, and EMBER is a personal trade for him.

Grayscale Says U.S. Crypto Regulation Can Advance Without CLARITY Act

Odaily News: Zach Pandl, Head of Research at digital asset management firm Grayscale, said in an analysis on September 10 that even if Congress fails to pass the CLARITY Act this year, U.S. crypto regulation can still advance in areas such as stablecoins, token issuance, tokenized securities, and perpetual futures.

U.S. President Donald Trump signed the GENIUS Act on July 18, 2025, establishing a regulatory framework for the issuance of payment stablecoins. The law requires issuers to hold full reserves and publicly disclose the composition of reserves on a monthly basis, and prohibits misleading claims that tokens are federally insured, backed by the U.S. government, or legal tender.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has proposed Regulation Crypto Assets, which would allow qualifying projects to raise no more than $5 million over four years, or no more than $75 million in any 12-month period. The related exemptions and investment contract safe harbor remain in the proposal stage, with the public comment period closing on October 20.

The near-term procedural milestone for the CLARITY Act is a cloture vote on the motion to proceed scheduled for September 15. This procedural vote requires 60 votes to pass and is not a final vote. Grayscale said the bill would still help clarify the division of regulatory authority between the SEC and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), but its failure to pass would not halt regulatory measures already underway.
