State-owned lender REC, Larsen & Toubro, and non-bank lender IIFL Finance have collectively raised approximately $107 million through this framework. The system connects to the RBI's wholesale digital rupee to enable simultaneous settlement of bonds and funds, and automates interest payments and redemptions via smart contracts.
SEBI stated that the legal terms, credit ratings, trustee arrangements, listing rules, and investor protections for tokenized bonds remain unchanged. Investors can hold tokens in their existing Demat accounts, with secondary trading and retail participation to be introduced in subsequent phases. (Decrypt)

Odaily reports that Bitget is celebrating its 8th anniversary, with CEO Gracy releasing an anniversary open letter. She candidly acknowledged that when Bitget proposed its Universal Exchange (UEX) strategy a year ago, there was no shortage of skepticism from the outside, but the team chose to respond with product execution. She stated that the starting point of UEX is to solve the fragmentation across assets, accounts, time, and geography, enabling users to trade global quality assets in a one-stop manner. Now that more and more leading exchanges are beginning to build out traditional financial trading, Gracy calls 2025 to 2026 the "first year of multi-asset trading."
In the letter, Gracy wrote that over the past year, Bitget has moved from "follower" to "leader in product innovation," successively launching products including stock perpetual contracts, Pre-IPO, cross-asset unified accounts, rToken, and Hong Kong stock Quanto contracts. Data shows that non-crypto asset trading volume has peaked at 40% of the platform's total trading volume, TradFi contracts and CFDs both surpassed $10 billion in single-day trading volume, and rToken has accumulated over 3 million transactions.
Looking ahead to the next phase, institutional business will become Bitget's core direction. As of Q2 2026, Bitget's institutional client net asset scale has grown 45% cumulatively compared to Q3 2025, with core active market makers increasing from 90 to 248. Going forward, the platform will continue to optimize trade execution, asset security, and institutional service pathways. Gracy wrote at the end of the open letter: "The pursuit of trading excellence has no completion—only continuous progress. The era of multi-asset trading has only just begun."

Regular stock trading hours remain from 9 AM to 3:30 PM, and under the new system, investors can continue trading until 8 PM after the regular market close. As for pre-market trading, due to the securities industry's concerns over the significant burden of IT system development and staffing operations, the Korea Exchange has postponed the pre-market session, originally scheduled to launch today, to the end of 2027. Regarding whether ETFs (exchange-traded funds) and ETNs (exchange-traded notes), which have drawn market attention, will be included in after-hours trading, the Korea Exchange stated that, given concerns about market volatility, ETFs and ETNs will not be included in after-hours trading for the time being. Odaily News: According to a Reuters survey, most economists believe the Federal Reserve will raise interest rates this week and hike at least once more before the end of March next year, reversing the previously widespread and fragile consensus that rates would remain unchanged. Following last Friday's inflation report, the Reuters survey showed that 85% of economists expect the Fed to raise rates by 25 basis points at its September meeting, bringing the rate to 3.75%-4.00%, which would be the first rate hike since July 2023. Nearly 53% of forecasters expect at least one more hike by the end of March, compared with 56% who believed rates would remain unchanged last week. The prevailing view of rate cuts in 2027 no longer exists.
Stephen Juneau, a senior economist at Bank of America, said: "Warsh has effectively backed himself into a corner: the Fed will only abandon a rate hike if the data comes in very weak." He has been forecasting three rate hikes this year since June. "We hadn't reached that expectation... then we received this inflation report, and the situation became much clearer." (Jinshi)
