According to Odaily, Nubank has stated that due to an issue with an external service provider, it has temporarily suspended cryptocurrency deposits and withdrawals in Brazil, while other crypto asset products continue to operate normally. Mercado Pago stated that a security incident occurred at the institution providing risk monitoring and anti-money laundering services, causing instability in crypto asset transfers; as a precautionary measure, the platform has blocked certain transfers to external wallets.
