During yesterday's massive crash, Hyperliquid's "priority fees" hit an all-time high

Odaily reports: On November 5, the priority fees collected by Hyperliquid reached $521,000, setting an all-time high. This revenue also accounted for a record share of the platform's total daily revenue, reaching 12.7%.

So-called Priority Fees refer to the additional fees users voluntarily pay to validators or protocols in order to have their transactions processed first during intense market competition or network congestion. Yesterday coincided with a historic-level crash in U.S. stocks. Under these extreme market conditions, on-chain liquidation bots, arbitrageurs, and ordinary traders all frantically competed for transaction processing priority in order to execute their intended operations more quickly.
