First tokenized US stock trades completed, Canton Network executes trades under SEC innovation exemption framework
Odaily reports: Canton Strategic Holdings announced that its issuer-backed tokenized common shares completed their first trades on November 4 (US Eastern Time) on TSV LLC, a tokenized securities trading platform on the Canton Network. The company stated that these transactions represent the first batch of tokenized US stock trades under the SEC's innovation exemption framework introduced on September 17. Existing shareholder Five North acted as the seller, DRW Cumberland as the buyer, with Flowdesk providing liquidity. The trades were executed through a permissioned pool of the Tradecraft AMM protocol and settled atomically on the Canton Network. The company stated that tokenized stock holders enjoy the same rights as shareholders holding shares through Nasdaq.
