Scroll plans to pivot to a privacy-focused AI application-specific network and migrate SCR to Ethereum mainnet

Odaily: A protocol upgrade proposal has appeared on the Scroll DAO forum, seeking to transform Scroll into a permissioned application-specific network focused on privacy AI and to migrate SCR to Ethereum mainnet. The proposal states that, if approved, the Scroll Foundation will lead the network upgrade and asset migration. The new network will serve an integrated AI product stack including Compass, Compass API, CENO, USX, and SCR, with a focus on privacy AI interactions, secure credentials, agent workflows, payments, and compute coordination. The SCR supply and overall tokenomics will remain unchanged, and SCR will continue to serve a governance function; governance scope is proposed to extend to core USX parameters, and SCR may also serve as collateral for certain high-risk commitments and validators.
