Official Website Access Restored, Smart Contracts Uncompromised: Echelon Domain Security Incident Update
Odaily reports: Echelon states that official website access permissions have been fully restored, and domain resolution has returned to normal. According to the investigation, this incident was caused by unauthorized nameserver changes at the domain registrar level: Echelon's domain is managed through Vercel, with Name.com as the registrar. The nameservers were changed from Vercel's DNS configuration to Name.com's DNS servers, which redirected visitors to unauthorized phishing site clone pages. This issue was limited to the domain registrar and DNS configuration level only; Echelon's smart contracts were not compromised.
