Binance Hot Wallet Suspected of Being Attacked, Approximately $2.5 Billion in Assets Transferred Out

Odaily Report: Binance hot wallet "Binance 14" (0x28C6…1d60) transferred out approximately 167,500 ETH (about $379 million), 1.615 billion USDT, and more than 60 other tokens including RLUSD, wBETH, XAUt, UNI, and USD1 — with a total value of approximately $2.5 billion — to a new address 0x5227…CB2f8c via a single transaction at 04:24 Beijing time. On-chain data shows that the address that initiated the transaction, 0x7C86…5CA0, received its funds from Tornado Cash; the hot wallet is suspected of having been compromised. As of press time, Binance has not yet responded.
