Another US media outlet discloses details of letter to Iran: Stresses negotiations must involve nuclear issues, Trump holds positive attitude
Odaily: A US official stated that US Vice President Vance has sent a letter to Rezaei, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, emphasizing that any negotiations aimed at avoiding a US military strike "need to discuss the nuclear issue." The letter focuses on the possibility of resuming US-Iran negotiations and represents the highest-level contact between the United States and Iran in months. Vance suggested that Trump send the letter to Rezaei. The US official said: "President Trump holds a positive attitude toward this letter." But declined to disclose when the letter was sent. Trump told reporters on Wednesday local time that Vance's letter was meant to help Iran obtain needed medical supplies. Previously, The Wall Street Journal was the first to report on the "letter" matter. (Axios)
