Odaily reports: Citi Research has released a report stating that viewing Aave solely as a crypto-native lending protocol is no longer sufficient. As tokenized assets, stablecoins, and institutional participation gradually enter mainstream finance, Aave is poised to become a decentralized collateral liquidity protocol connecting tokenized assets and financing. The report notes that Aave V4, Horizon, and GHO all point toward the intersection of collateral, liquidity, and financing; as tokenization expands from stablecoins to money market funds, private credit, treasuries, and eventually equities, collateral circulation may become one of the key use cases of tokenization.
