CoreWeave and Broadcom Oppose OKXICE's Plan to Tokenize and Trade Their Shares On-Chain
Odaily reports that CoreWeave and Broadcom have voiced opposition to a stock tokenization trading application proposed by OKXICE, a joint venture between OKX and Intercontinental Exchange (ICE). The application seeks to allow the two companies' shares to be listed and traded on the blockchain in tokenized form.
According to reports, as more and more publicly listed companies oppose the tokenization of their shares, CoreWeave and Broadcom have joined the ranks of opposition. This trend could pose obstacles to the U.S. government and SEC's plans to promote tokenized trading of U.S. stocks. (The Information)
