Unitree Technology's Wang Xingxing: The Biggest Mistake I Made in the Past Was Not Trusting AI Enough

Odaily Report: On October 12, during the in-depth dialogue session at the opening ceremony of the 26th China International Industry Fair, Wang Xingxing, founder of Unitree Technology, shared that the recent release of GPT-6 had a significant impact on the embodied intelligence industry's perception, and his company's team also deployed it to robots for task testing, with fairly good results. In his view, the arrival of the critical turning point for the embodied intelligence industry will still be relatively quick—possibly even within one to two years.

Wang Xingxing stated that to achieve large-scale application of robots, the issues of generalization and efficiency still need to be addressed, but these problems will be resolved in the coming years. He also mentioned, "Now my personal belief in AI is actually growing by the day. The biggest mistake I made over the past decade or so was not trusting AI enough. Even now, many people may not have fully used or embraced AI." (Yicai)
