Odaily reports: A Malaysian man's crypto wallet is suspected of being hacked, resulting in a loss of approximately 12.47 million ringgit in crypto assets, equivalent to about $3.05 million. The Perak State Police Chief stated that the victim discovered on the afternoon of October 9 that a crypto asset in his digital wallet had been transferred out without his knowledge or consent. Preliminary investigations show that the relevant transaction was conducted through a blockchain network. Police are cooperating with the Cryptocurrency Special Task Force of the Commercial Crime Investigation Department to trace the flow of funds and investigate those involved.
