Former FTX COO Criticizes Netflix's New Show 'The Altruists' for Inaccuracy, Turning FTX Scandal into a Love Story

Odaily News: Former FTX Chief Operating Officer Constance Wang criticized Netflix's upcoming FTX-themed series "The Altruists," saying she felt "physically ill" after watching the trailer and that the FTX depicted in the show is completely different from her actual experience.

Wang stated that FTX had fewer than 200 employees, many of whom worked 16 to 18 hours a day. She also said she had never seen Caroline Ellison display the dominant demeanor portrayed in the show, and criticized Netflix for adapting the FTX scandal into a love story.

It is reported that the series consists of 8 episodes and is scheduled to premiere on November 19. (The Block)
