Musk: Tesla and SpaceX Will Build and Operate Terafab Themselves, TSMC May Only Sublease Part of the Capacity

Odaily News: Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk stated that Tesla and SpaceX will build and operate the Terafab AI chip factory in Texas themselves, and TSMC may at most sublease part of the space.

Musk said last week that the two sides had discussed potential cooperation on the Terafab project, but in his latest response on the X platform to the claim that "the most likely outcome is that TSMC will own and operate the factory," he said: "No, we will build and operate this factory, there should be no doubt about that." Musk added that TSMC "may be able to sublease part of Terafab, but that's it." (Reuters)
