Positioning as an institutional-grade finance and asset tokenization Layer 1, Injective releases a new whitepaper
Odaily reports that Injective has released a new whitepaper, marking the first comprehensive rewrite since the initial version in December 2018. The new version positions Injective as a Layer 1 for institutional-grade finance and asset tokenization, covering the full lifecycle of tokenized assets from issuance and trading to settlement, and introduces native RWA tokenization mechanisms as well as iAssets derivatives. Tokenized assets can be traded on a fully on-chain central limit order book, with uniform price clearing through sealed-bid high-frequency batch auctions; BFT consensus provides deterministic finality, with block times of approximately 600 milliseconds. The new version also covers native EVM and WASM, perpetual contract risk management, and AI agent finance, with on-chain protocol revenue flowing toward regular INJ community buybacks.
