Binance Pay Opens USDT Payments at PayPay Merchants for Users Visiting Japan

Odaily Report: Binance Pay will open its service to eligible overseas users starting Wednesday, allowing visitors to Japan to pay with USDT at most merchants supporting PayPay via HIVEX.

HIVEX is a payment interoperability framework that connects overseas QR code payment services with merchants supporting PayPay in Japan. Merchants do not need separate integration, and settlements are still conducted in Japanese yen.

PayPay is a Japanese cashless payment service covering millions of locations, including large chain stores, small retailers, vending machines, taxis, and public transportation. (Cointelegraph)
