Anthropic Discloses Compute Deal with SpaceX Worth Up to $84.5 Billion

Odaily News: AI startup Anthropic disclosed in its confidential IPO filing that it has signed an agreement with SpaceX, planning to pay up to $84.5 billion by 2029 for access to SpaceX's AI compute resources based on Nvidia chips. Most of the related agreements can be terminated with 90 days' advance notice. This amount is significantly higher than the scale previously disclosed by SpaceX. In May of this year, Anthropic announced a compute leasing agreement with SpaceX. SpaceX's previously submitted listing documents showed that Anthropic agreed to pay $1.25 billion per month, with a contract term of up to approximately three years, totaling nearly $45 billion, and also including a 90-day cancellation clause.
