Some users' personal information leaked; Revolut suspected of failing to identify a fraudulent request

2026-09-12 06:36

Odaily reports that according to ZachXBT monitoring, Revolut is suspected of failing to identify a fraudulent request, resulting in the leak of some users' personally identifiable information (PII). The leaked information includes copies of passports or driver's licenses and verification selfies, account statements, IBANs, withdrawal records, complete transaction history including Bitcoin transactions, as well as names, dates of birth, occupations, home addresses, email addresses, and phone numbers. ZachXBT stated that the number of users involved in this incident may be limited, but it appears to target high-net-worth individuals. It is reported that multiple Revolut users received related security alert emails yesterday.
