Anchorage Digital Partners with Frgmnt to Open fUSD and sfUSD Stablecoin Infrastructure to Institutions

2026-09-11 15:33

Odaily News: Stablecoin protocol Frgmnt has partnered with digital asset custody and infrastructure company Anchorage Digital to open fUSD and sfUSD infrastructure to institutional clients. Clients can hold, mint, stake, and redeem the related protocol assets within Anchorage Digital's existing custody environment without needing to establish separate custody arrangements.

Frgmnt issues two related assets on Base, with fUSD minted from USDC and deployed to designated onchain lending markets; users can stake fUSD to receive sfUSD and earn rewards generated by the protocol's strategies. Related holdings and performance metrics can be monitored through Frgmnt's analytics tools, Dune, and DefiLlama.

Anchorage Digital operates Anchorage Digital Bank, the first federally chartered crypto bank in the United States, providing custody, staking, trading, and settlement services to institutional clients. Frgmnt stated that protocol deposits will be opened in capped batches, with the next round of deposits planned for September. (Bitcoin.com News)
