LAPTOP: 4 million tokens to be used to incentivize Aerodrome liquidity, with another 10 million to be burned

Odaily reports: The Hunter Biden Meme token LAPTOP Foundation has announced that the LAPTOP initial liquidity pool launched at a price of $0.05. Due to high market demand, participation by sniper bots, and insufficient initial liquidity from market makers, the price rapidly surged and then fell back in a short period. To improve liquidity, the team will inject 4 million LAPTOP tokens (0.4% of total supply) starting September 10 at 00:00 UTC to incentivize the Aerodrome liquidity pool. In addition, two prediction events in the Predictions allocation have been confirmed to settle as YES, corresponding to 10 million LAPTOP tokens that will be burned, accounting for 1% of total supply.

The team also stated that the 30% of LAPTOP held by the founding team will be locked for 6 months and gradually unlocked over two years, custodied by Coinbase Custody; the 30% of tokens in the Predictions allocation will be locked for 12 months. Another 80 million LAPTOP will be claimable by subscribers who joined Hunter Substack before September 6, and any unclaimed portion after the 30-day claim period ends will be burned.
