Odaily News: U.S. Bank, a subsidiary of U.S. Bancorp, has completed a real-time cross-border payment test using its dollar stablecoin USBDC, with transactions executed between its North American and European entities via the Stellar blockchain. The pilot also tested USBDC's minting, redemption, freezing, and rebate functions, and validated its internally developed digital asset platform. U.S. Bank stated that it is exploring use cases in cross-border treasury operations, liquidity management, and collateral transfer, but did not disclose a timeline for customer availability or commercialization.
