Humain Releases AI Model "humain-m3" Based on China's MiniMax M3

Odaily News: Humain, an artificial intelligence company backed by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund PIF, has released its AI model "humain-m3," built on China's MiniMax M3. Humain stated that humain-m3 is designed to strengthen the Arabic AI ecosystem and drive cutting-edge AI development. The release also reflects that a growing number of countries are seeking greater control over key AI technologies through independent AI platforms and open-source models.

Previously reported, Humain also announced plans to raise an initial $2.5 billion to establish a fund focused on investing in data centers. Sources familiar with the matter revealed that the fund will provide financing support for the 250-megawatt data center capacity being developed in partnership with Al Moammar Information Systems, with the potential for the overall scale to expand to 1 gigawatt in the future.
