Coinbase launches regulated crypto derivatives and commodity futures in Canada, supporting up to 10x leverage

Odaily Planet Daily News: Coinbase has launched regulated derivative contracts for eligible Canadian traders through its subsidiary Coinbase Financial Markets (CFM), becoming the first major crypto platform to offer native crypto futures in Canada. The products include 23 perpetual and dated futures contracts across Bitcoin, ETH, SOL, and other assets, 5 commodity futures covering gold, silver, oil, and more, as well as the COIN50 Index futures, all supporting up to 10x leverage. All contracts are provided by CFM, a CFTC-registered futures commission merchant, with a limited-time fee of 0.02% per trade plus $0.11 per contract.
