Global equity funds see 12 consecutive weeks of inflows, tech stock funds see $1.7 billion weekly outflow

Odaily News: The Kobeissi Letter posted on X platform stating that global equity funds recorded $18.62 billion in inflows for the week ending August 12, marking the 12th consecutive week of inflows. Europe saw $13.52 billion, Asia saw $4.13 billion, and the US saw $2.58 billion. The previous week recorded $21.15 billion, and two weeks prior saw $27.21 billion. During this consecutive inflow period, equity funds accumulated $237.57 billion in inflows.

Meanwhile, global tech stock funds recorded $1.7 billion in outflows for the week ending August 12, ending a streak of six consecutive weeks of inflows. Investors are diversifying beyond the tech sector.
