US Stock Premarket Key Briefing: SanDisk and Western Digital Q4 Earnings on Tap, SpaceX to "Exclusively" Adopt Nvidia AI Computing Architecture

1. Three major US stock index futures edged higher. Dow Jones futures rose 0.45%, S&P 500 futures rose 0.49%, and Nasdaq 100 futures rose 0.26%.
2. International oil prices climbed amid volatility. WTI crude oil futures rose 0.79% to $76.367 per barrel; Brent crude oil futures rose 1.40% to $80.468 per barrel.
3. Both international spot gold and silver moved higher. Spot gold rose 3.17% to $4,206.60 per ounce; spot silver rose 4.57% to $62.22 per ounce.
4. Europe's three major indices traded in a narrow range. UK FTSE 100 rose 0.45%, France CAC40 fell 0.01%, and Germany DAX30 rose 0.21%.
5. During SpaceX's first-ever earnings call, Musk committed that SpaceX will build its AI services entirely on Nvidia's systems in the future, calling Nvidia's Vera Rubin architecture the "best AI computing architecture."
6. On Thursday Eastern Time, 912 million SpaceX shares will be unlocked from lock-up. Based on the August 4 closing price, this represents approximately $114 billion in market value, marking the largest lock-up expiration in US capital market history.

12. The US will ban exports of tungsten scrap and recycled battery materials starting later this month. Shredded metal derived from lithium-ion battery recycling will be required to be sold domestically within the US. However, related companies can still apply for exemptions. The ban will remain in effect for one year.
