Ondo Finance Launches New Execution Layer Ondo Network, Replacing the Original Ondo Chain Roadmap

Odaily reported that Ondo Finance has launched a new execution layer, Ondo Network, calling it an "evolved version" of the previous Ondo Chain, and stating it will no longer run in parallel with Ondo Chain. During the development of its perpetual contract exchange, Ondo Perps, Ondo discovered that transaction bottlenecks primarily stem from execution rather than settlement. Therefore, it has separated execution from settlement and verification: high-speed, default-private transaction execution is handled by secure hardware enclaves, a decentralized attestor network verifies its running code, and asset transfers are currently settled on Ethereum. Support for more public chains will be added in the future, with periodic state submissions on-chain.
