Zcash Ironwood Mainnet Upgrade Expected to Activate at 20:00 on July 28

Odaily Planet Daily News: Zcash core developer Sean Bowe stated on the X platform that the activation block height for the Zcash Ironwood mainnet has been determined and marked. All major organizations have committed to activating the NU6.3 upgrade at block height 3,428,143, with an expected time of 20:00 Beijing time on July 28. This upgrade stems from a previous vulnerability in the Orchard pool, which could have allowed an attacker to mint an unlimited amount of counterfeit ZEC. Due to the privacy features of the Orchard pool, the team could not determine whether any counterfeit ZEC was minted before the vulnerability was patched.
