Micron Technology rose over 4% in pre-market trading to $989.49. Recently, Micron Technology launched an expansion project at its Hiroshima factory in Japan, with a total investment of 1.5 trillion yen. The plan is to begin mass production of advanced memory products such as HBM from 2028, with supply to leading clients like Nvidia expected to start in the summer of 2028. The Japanese government will provide up to 536 billion yen in subsidies for the project.
