Sony Receives Conditional Approval from US OCC, to Launch Stablecoin Trust Bank in 2027

Odaily Odaily, Sony has received conditional approval from the U.S. Office of the Comptroller of the Currency to establish a national trust bank, planning to launch Connectia Trust in 2027, focusing on the issuance and management of USD stablecoins. The trust subsidiary, which falls under the Sony Financial Group, has a capital of $40 million.
