Brent crude oil's intraday gain expanded to 5%, Iran says it will close the Strait of Hormuz if it faces any new attacks

Odaily reported that according to Gate data, Brent crude oil's intraday gain expanded to 5%, now standing at $79.60 per barrel. WTI crude oil is currently up 4.75%. Iranian media reported that Iran will close the Strait of Hormuz if it encounters any new attacks.
