World Gold Council: Global Gold ETFs See Net Inflows of $8 Billion in H1

2026-07-08 13:18

According to a report by Odaily, the World Gold Council stated that although global listed funds experienced outflows in June (-$8.9 billion), strong performance in the Asian market led to overall net inflows of $8 billion into global gold ETFs in the first half of the year. As of the end of June, the total assets under management of global gold ETFs stood at $526 billion, down 6% in H1, mainly due to lower gold prices. Total holdings increased by 18 tons in the first half of the year to 4,047 tons. Gold market trading volume declined in June, but the average daily trading volume in H1 still reached a record high of $488 billion. (Jin Shi)
