Odaily Planet Daily News According to market sources: Intel has confirmed price increases for some consumer and server CPUs, citing rising supply chain costs and demand exceeding supply. Consumer processor price increases range from $30 to $50, while data center-level products have seen increases of hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars.
Investment bank Wedbush believes Intel still has the ability to implement price increases without impacting market demand. Wedbush analyst Matt Bryson wrote in a report to clients: "Given the ongoing supply shortage for server CPUs, we believe Intel still has room to raise prices without affecting demand."
