Pakistani Government Official: Format of U.S.-Iran Talks Remains Uncertain

Odaily News: A senior Pakistani government official said on the 11th that although the United States and Iran have clearly scheduled talks for that day, the format of the negotiations remains uncertain at present. The official stated that both the U.S. and Iran have made various arrangements for the talks, including "face-to-face" and "back-to-back" formats. Pakistan is also prepared to facilitate "face-to-face" negotiations between the two sides or, if needed, to conduct talks in a "back-to-back" format by relaying messages through Pakistan.
