Chainlink announced a partnership with UBS to leverage Swift messaging to streamline the tokenized fund process. Leveraging Swift messaging and the Chainlink Runtime Environment (CRE), banks and financial institutions can leverage the same Swift infrastructure they've relied on for decades to access various blockchains. UBS's tokenized fund smart contract reportedly uses ISO 20022 messages to trigger subscriptions and redemptions. The CRE receives Swift messages and triggers subscriptions and redemptions based on the Chainlink Digital Transfer Agent (DTA) technology standard.
