2hours ago
According to Odaily Planet Daily, U.S. Treasury yields remained stable during Asian trading hours as the market awaited the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision. Amanda Sundstrom, FX and fixed income strategist at Nordea Bank, stated in a research note: "The probability of a 25 basis point rate cut by the Fed tonight is extremely high, but a 50 basis point cut cannot be completely ruled out." The bank expects a majority of Federal Open Market Committee members to support a 25 basis point cut, and that Chairman Powell will hint at further rate cuts at the October meeting. Tradeweb data shows that the 2-year U.S. Treasury yield is at 3.507%, the 10-year at 4.023%, and the 30-year at 4.643%. (Jinshi)
